PIZZA CAPRICCIOSA! The whimsical pizza! There is no traditional recipe for this pizza as everyone adds different ingredients. The basic topping includes marinated artichoke, sliced hard boiled eggs, prosciutto, and mushrooms, but unleash your imagination and try adding the ingredients you like.

prepare the basic pizza dough according to the recipe
1 cup (250 g) tomatoes, puréed in a blender
2 oz (60 g) fresh mozzarella cheese, diced
2 oz (60 g) marinated artichokes
2 oz (60 g) oz (60 g) black olives
2 oz (60 g) prosciutto, cut up in pieces
2 oz (60 g) dark cremini mushrooms, sliced
1 hard boiled egg, sliced
2 - 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 500 F (260 C). Spread the tomato evenly over the pizza.
Add the mozzarella cheese.
Add all the other ingredients: marinated artichokes, black olives, prosciutto, mushrooms, and hard boiled egg.
Spread the olive oil on the pizza. Add salt and pepper. Bake the pizza for approximately 20 - 25 minutes. Lift one side to check for readiness. Pizza is ready when the bottom surface is light golden brown.
