Simple and tasty, “pizza ‘ca pummarola” Pizza with Tomato is a true treat. Just sautéed fresh ripe tomato and mozzarella cheese goes on it.

1 lb (1/2 kg) fresh, very ripe “on the vine” cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
2 oz (60 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
Using the quantities indicated above prepare one recipe of
Pan Sauteed Tomatoes
prepare the basic pizza dough according to the recipe
Preheat oven to 500 F (260 C). Spread evenly the tomato on the pizza dough.
Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake the pizza for approximately 20 - 25 minutes. Lift one side to check for readiness. Pizza is ready when the bottom surface is light golden brown.
