prepare the basic pizza dough according to the recipe
1/2 lb (250 g) brown cremini mushrooms, finely sliced
2 tablespoon Italian parsley, finely chopped
3 – 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
salt and pepper
2 oz (60 gr) mozzarella cheese, shredded
the temperature in the kitchen should be around 64-75 F(20-24 C) for the dough to rise properly.
Preheat oven to 500 F (260 C).Place the mushrooms in a bowl. add parsley,2 tablespoon olive oil, slat and pepper. Toss all the ingrediants together.
spread the mushrooms over the pizza
spread on the mushrooms 2 tbspns of the olive oil
top with mozzareilla cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes approximately. Lift one side to check for readiness. Pizza is ready when the bottom surface is light brown.
