I go every Saturday to the Santa Monica Farmers Market. It is a pleasure to shop for fresh fruit and vegetables at the end of spring, when we start seeing the first eggplants and bell peppers. The profusion of colors, the scent of the herbs and the flowers… I like to go early when the vegetables, just picked the night before, are still fresh. Everything is produced in California, and most of the produce is organically cultivated. Join me while I shop for my cooking classes for the coming week.
